Mutton Chop
This was my lunch at Redhill Food Centre (diagonally across from redhill mrt station). I forgot to take note of the stall's name but it's the Indian stall in the middle lane of the food centre. very different from our usual western stalls, this mutton chop ($4) is soaked in a spicy, very red, gravy. it comes with fries and a fried egg. for a hawker centre stall that also sells roti prata, roti john and the works, they do quite mean fries. fried almost to perfection - not too soggy, not too stiff. and i can tell that they use the same oil for the fries as they do their roti prata. eating the fries is like eating roti prata. if you want a change from the typical slab of lamb chop, you can try this place, where the mutton chop is served in chunks instead of one single piece.
