goodwood park hotel
havent posted in a long time = havent had good food in a long time
i went to goodwood park hotel on wednesday! huge array of food.. so little space in my tummy. i would do a comparison with phoenix hotel's buffet if i had time, but noooo...i even have school on a public holiday so here's in 4 words: phoenix hotel is better. The desserts win hands-down. i'll post some photos here first, update the captions later..

for starters, cold seafood - crayfish! oysters, salmon and sushi. there's sashimi at a different area though, apparently its different from the cold salmon.

mmm...oyster ;)

ok on this plate there is roast veal, sea bass, roast potatoes, popiah and fish curry

if there's one lesson i learn from eating buffets at hotels, ALWAYS leave space for dessert..here's (from left): chocolate mousse, apricot delight and brownie

apple crumble with vanilla sauce and movenpick ice cream - lime and lemon sorbet, strawberry

last but not least, the deciding factors that phoenix hotel is better --> mango mousse and peach tart
the dinner buffet cost $28.80++ it was worth it for the variety..the main dishes were of high standard, but the desserts, disappointing
